Department of Building and Housing Publications Ordering Information

vicbooks in Wellington, New Zealand, is the official supplier of some Department of Building and Housing publications.

On 30 November 2004 the Building Industry Authority (BIA) was disestablished and its functions were transferred to the Department of Building and Housing. The Department will continue to publish the New Zealand Building Code Compliance Documents (formerly known as Approved Documents).

From this page you can purchase, by credit card, the following Department publications in several different formats:

  • Handbook to the NZ Building Code and Compliance Documents.
